details by Kelly Miller is seeking an Assistant Event Coordinator to join our team! The Assistant Event Coordinator will support the Lead Coordinator on the day of the wedding in ensuring the success of the event. Tasks may include:
- event setup/breakdown of centerpieces, place cards, signage, favors, and other decor
- communication with the wedding vendors, the bride and groom, and the wedding party
- management of the wedding day timeline
- resolving any issues or emergencies that may arise during the event (they always arise!)
The Assistant Event Coordinator will be needed on the event day for 4-5 hours and compensation is $25 per hour.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Good under pressure and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- A warm yet professional demeanor
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Experience in events, hospitality, or related field preferred
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have availability for most of the following dates in the afternoon/early evening: October 5, November 9, January 4, January 18, May 17, May 23, and June 7
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to carry and lift 30 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
